Over 20 years ago, in 2004, the phrase God Can’t Fail was first spoken during a service at Word of Life Christian Center. It was a simple yet profound statement that deeply resonated with Donavan Montrell Thompson, the founder of God Can’t Fail. Though many phrases focus on love and faith, Montrell had never heard those three words—God Can’t Fail—put together in such a powerful way.

Moved by the struggles of close friends facing life’s challenges, Montrell was inspired to write a song titled God Can’t Fail. In 2006, he released his first album, with the song as its lead track. The album’s success brought attention to the phrase, sparking the creation of the first God Can’t Fail wristbands. Initially available in just two colors—clear with black lettering and clear with red lettering—these wristbands quickly grew in popularity. Today, they come in over 30 vibrant color combinations.

As the message spread, something remarkable happened: people began sharing their wristbands with others, offering hope and inspiration in times of need. Over the years, the God Can’t Fail movement has reached people across the globe, including well-known celebrities and both collegiate and professional athletes.
